Let's look at how to add citations to your Notes and where you can view them in your Project.

Using the Researcher (Chrome extension) 

  1. Begin by activating the Airstory Researcher and then highlight the images or text you want to toss into your Airstory project 

2. Click on Show Details and complete any of the outstanding fields, if applicable:

3. Select the Airstory project where you'd like the Note to live.

4. Click Save.

5. To view the Citation in your Note Library simply click on View it in the app in the notification window:

6. Back in your Airstory account you'll be taken to the project where you stored the Note.

7. Click on the Airstory icon in the upper left-hand corner to lock-open the purple navigation bar. Now, open the Note Library to grab your newly-created Note. 

8. In the open Note, view the Citations attached to the Note by clicking on Citation, in the upper portion of the Note:

9. Once you start to drop your source-rich Notes into your document you'll notice a superscript appears at the end of these Notes indicating you have a citation attached to that Note:

You'll also notice the following Citations icon appears in your purple navigation bar: 

10. Clicking on the Citations icon will take you to a list of the citations that appear in your document:

11. As soon as you export your document to HTML, Google Drive, Word or your WP site you'll notice  your Citation(s) appear at the bottom of the document, similar to footnotes.

Using the Notes feature: 

  1. Open the Airstory project you'd like to work in. 
  2. Click on the Airstory icon in the upper left-hand corner to lock-open the purple navigation bar. 
  3. To open a new Note, select the + sign to the right of the Note Library icon (in the purple navigation bar):

4. To enter source information for your Note click on Citation in the upper portion of the Note:

5. Complete the empty fields and close the card (don't worry, all changes are saved automatically). 

6. Once you start to drop your source-rich Notes into your document you'll notice a superscript appears at the end of these Notes indicating you have a citation attached to that Note:
